The City of Point crew is working as quickly as possible to have this issue resolved and water restored. The crew worked until about 5a.m. and will be back at it today.  We will have water availabe at the Point City Hall for our water customers. Once the water is restored please boil your water until further notice. 

Due to a pump failure at the water plant, residents are asked to resrict water usage to absolute minimum. You may experience very low pressure or loss of water. Please boil water before using it for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or other consumption until further notice. Our crew is working as quickly as possible to resolve this issue. Thank you for your cooperation and patience.  

As of August 31, 2026 Rains County, Texas is under a Burn Ban.
